Designed by Edwin A. Roth and built in 1926 - 1927 as a garment factory for J. Uditsky & Son, The Daniel Building is a 7 story building in the Art Deco style.
Zareo Sportswear, a clothing company, was there in the 1950's and in the 1990's, Current Science, which published medical journals, was headquartered there. 3rd Street Jazz record store was there from 1987 to 1998. It was in the first floor and lower level on the left side of the building.
The building currently houses offices and residential condos. Indy Hall, the oldest co-working space in Philadelphia (& one of the oldest in the US) was at the Daniel Bldg. from 2009 to 2016.
