The fire station at 319-321 Race Street and neighboring police station at 323-325 Race Street, which were converted to multifamily residences in 2002 and 2003, were built in the Georgian-influenced Neoclassical style.
The Stationhouse Condominiums (323 Race St) once housed the Fire Truck #2 Station, from 1925 until 1968 and the 4th District Police Station. The Police station was built c. 1910 on property that previously housed Christian Nonnenberger, Hat Block & Flange Maker. In the 1950's and '60's, the former police station housed the Police & Firemen's Medical Association.
The two buildings have since been converted into a condominium building. They were listed on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places on December 31,1984.
