208 Race St. (Race St Cafe)

Built c. 1925, this one story vernacular building was built for a blacksmith shop, Philadelphia Blacksmith Supply Co., which somehow survived until the mid 1980's. It was converted to a restaurant, initially Flynn's Landing, followed by Cafe Einstein in the 90's. For the past 20 years or so, 208 Race has been home to Race St Cafe.
